  • How big is the space?

    The main gathering space is 1,064 square feet. There is an attached kitchen and bathroom area that is an additional 260 square feet. The fenced backyard is approximately ¼ acre.

  • What is the maximum capacity for the space?

    The space comfortably fits 40 people, but we can accommodate up to 50 guests. More than that puts an undue burden on our parking/neighborhood and restroom facilities.

  • Are tables and chairs included?

    Yes! We provide 50 complimentary chairs, twelve 6 foot folding tables, two high-top cocktail tables and a single green velvet couch (all for indoor use only). Linens are not provided. 10 folding lawn chairs are also available for outdoor use.

  • Where can guests park?

    Parking is available for 10-12 cars in two paved lots on the side of the building and beside the shed. Additional parking is available across Park Rd. at Flint Park or on-street parking on Leaview Dr. beside the barn. See the map on the homepage for more details. Please DO NOT park on-street on West St.

  • Is set up and tear down time included in my rental?

    Please book for the total amount of time you’ll need to be in the space. We schedule our cleaning, landscaping, & maintenance services around your requested booking times, so early setups, vendor deliveries and last minute changes to your booking schedule cannot be guaranteed.

  • Are there noise restrictions?

    No outdoor speakers, live music or sound amplification of any kind are permitted. We are located within a residential neighborhood, and we follow all Columbus City ordinances around noise. Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 7 AM. You can read Columbus City’s code here. Thanks for being respectful to our neighbors!

  • Is there a kitchen?

    Yes! Fully stocked kitchen includes full size fridge, stove, oven, microwave, sink, and cooking and serving utensils. Serving bowls and plates are also available.

  • Is there a cleaning fee?

    Cleaning is included in your rental fee. We only ask that all renters remove trash to the outdoor receptacles before leaving. This helps us avoid pest problems.

  • ​​Can I bring alcohol?

    You are welcome to bring your own alcohol to serve at your event. The renter assumes all liability for consumption of alcohol and clean up.

  • Can I use candles?

    Birthday candles are fine, all other open flames are prohibited.

  • Is the space wheelchair accessible?

    Unfortunately the space is not currently wheelchair accessible.

  • Is smoking permitted?

    Smoking is not permitted inside or outside the building.

  • Is there a Sound System?

    Yes. We have a nice indoor sound system to play music from your device. It is not a PA (no microphones). Pairing instructions are printed on a sign located in the corner “Supplies” closet.

  • Other Prohibited Items?

    Firearms, explosives, and hazardous materials are not permitted on premises. Also fog machines, glitter, spray paint, and chalk powder confetti cannons are prohibited.

  • Any decoration restrictions?

    Decorations are DIY, but must be temporary and leave no trace behind. We do provide a box of approved 3M velcro and adhesive tapes that will not leave any residue. Our walls are 160-year-old plaster on brick, so no marring nails, hooks, screws or hangars are allowed.
